Defining a Problem
Dyslexia is a dysfunction of the perceptual motor processes
of otherwise normal people that causes them to perceive visual
images and sounds differently, making learning in conventional
settings extremely difficult, and sometimes
impossible.
Dyslexia is not due to either lack of intelligence or a
desire to learn; with appropriate teaching methods dyslexics
can learn successfully.
The dePaul school provides the appropriate methods.
".....my son has made so much progress since he began
here. I am so grateful for the unique and successful
approach of the staff at dePaul. The dePaul method
works."
