The dePaul School provides an alternative
educational experience for adults, youth and children with
learning disabilities and attention deficits. This
program is held Saturdays, form 8:30 A.M. to 11:30 P.M.,
beginning in October until May.

Individualized
instruction for adults and school-aged students.

Open to
students who attend other schools as well as those who
attend dePaul.

Classes
are highly structured, sequential, teacher directed and
paced to maintain the interest and attention of the
student. Instruction is intensive, structured and
multi-sensory.

All
tutors are trained in the use of dePaul materials by
qualified personnel.
The dePaul
School Saturday Tutorial Program focuses on improving basic
reading and literacy skills. Each student receives
instruction in dePaul Structured Linguistics (DPSL), Auditory
Discrimination and Reading .
As the
program is designed for students struggling with reading or
experiencing language based difficulties, admissions screening
may be required to determine eligibility for new
students.

Once
eligibility has been determined, a registration form may be
completed and returned to The dePaul School along with $50
Registration Fee.
Tuition for
the Saturday Program is $750.00 for each 10 week
session.
A
non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to process
registration.
The dePaul Summer Program began in June 1989
to make available continuing remediation to Full-Time and
Saturday Tutorial Program students and to provide an intensive
structured, multi-sensory learning experience for dyslexic
students from other educational settings.
The 1/2 day program consists of two 45 minute
periods of D.P.S.L., 2 45 minute periods of Math/Computer, and
one 45 minute period of Auditory Discrimination.
D.P.S.L. is taught one-to-one. Math is
taught in small groups of 5 or less students. Computer
classes are held daily, Students learn keyboarding, and
practice skills learned in D.P.S.L. and Math. Auditory
Discrimination class focuses on developing basic auditory
processing skills and remediating auditory
deficiencies.
